I am an applied economist specializing in developing economies, focusing on human capital, finance, behavioral economics, and illicit finance. I study economic issues through the application of economic theory and empirical methods, particularly randomized controlled trials (field and lab) and quasi-experimental designs. Having extensive international experience, I have worked and lived in sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
