LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

Taxi fares from Boston's Logan Airport to Cambridge range from $30.00 to $40.00. Public transportation information is available here.

HOUSING

The Bureau has secured a discounted rate at the Hotel Marlowe, 25 Edwin H. Land Blvd. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The NBER Summer Institute rate is $180.00 per night single or double occupancy plus 12.45% tax. Please make your hotel reservations by using the link provided in the invitation.

MEALS

The Bureau provides pastries with coffee and lunch during the workshops as well as one group dinner per week for all Summer Institute participants. For your information, the average lunch in the Cambridge/Boston area costs between $10.00 and $15.00. An average dinner costs between $20.00 and $30.00 (without alcoholic beverage).

COMPUTER ROOM

As in past years, all participants will have access to the NBER's computer room at the Royal Sonesta Hotel where a number of computers with printers and email capabilities are available 24 hours a day. Please also note that the sleeping rooms at the Royal Sonesta Hotel have complimentary wireless access.
