The National Longitudinal Mortality Study
The presentation will include a general discussion of NLMS history of development, study content and structure, summary of research findings to date, research potential of database, NLMS expansion potential, and user data access options.

Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Program data
The first part of this presentation will cover the design of the LEHD infrastructure micro data files (individual, household, job, employer, establishment, and geo-coding).  The description will cover the technical details of the data integration.  The second part will cover the use of these data in Census Research Data Centers.  Particular emphasis will be placed on the components of the system currently supported at RDCs.
 
Use of These Data at Census Research Data Centers
This presentation will include a discussion of the current protocol for placing data on the RDC network.  Presenters will discuss the project application and approval process, including the obligations of Title 13 stewardship, Title 26 considerations, and obligations imposed by other custodians.  Approved projects may be conducted in authorized RDCs.   At the completion of a project, there is a post-project certification process.  The obligations on the researcher and the methods for dealing with peer-review of journal articles will also be discussed.

The workshop will run from 9:30 to 3:30 with a working lunch provided.
