Pizza,
Pasta &
Gellati
Torino, February 2001

Our first trip from London was to northern Italy, very near Milan, Torino. Morgan quickly discovered why Italy is my favorite country: the food is the best. Morgan ate pizza every day and couldn't decide which was best. Even though it was winter, every meal was followed by the wonderful gellati. Nothing beats fresh pasta.

Richard was invited for a conference and as usual, the Italians are the warmest hosts. We had a great time.

LA MOLE ANTONELLIANA

The Mole built in 1863, is the symbol of Turin. Until a few years ago it was the highest stone building in Europe (167.50 metres). On the outside of the dome are the Fibonacci numbers.

Between, Torino and the British Museum,
Egypt has barely any original antiquities left.

Morgan experienced some wonderful hot chocolate
at this cafe. The waiter loved everything American and
thought Spikey was so charming that he gave her some
hot chocolate on the house also.

The kids really enjoyed the trip.
