Millenium Dome

The Dome was Britains celebration for the Millenium. It was only open in London for 1 year only and it closed on 31 December 2000. It is situated next to the River Thames in Greenwich, London, UK. Over 6.5 million visited the dome in 2000, making it the biggest tourist attraction in the UK. The total cost of the project was £801m, most of which was money from the Lottery. There have been a lot of bad reviews about the Dome, but you had to be there to experience it and then decided. We went twice and had a brilliant time both times.

First, we went with Morgan's friend, Jacob

The boys had a good time.

Morgan's favorite exhibit, shooting foam balls at people.

For our second trip, we met two sets of Morgan's friends from Brookline....

The largest foosball table in the word was another favorite

Even Spikey and Henry enjoyed it

The sibs are all taking a breather before getting back into the action.

The Dome has now closed. The current govenrment is embarassed, because it can't figure out what to do with a giant tent large enough to fit the Eifel Tower on its side.
