February in Puerto Rico
Rhyana made her first visit to Puerto Rico to meet the family in mid February, during Morgan's school vacation.
Here are the four generations of the Colon women spanning 85 years.
We had a great time at a nearby hotel pool.
We also went to La Parguera, a phosphorescent bay where micro-organisms called dinoflagellates that light up (similar to lighting bugs) when they move live. Morgan and I took a boat trip at night to see the little creatures. It was pretty cool. Morgan described it as seeing fireworks in the water.
During our road trip we stopped off at the beach:
It was a very mellow trip so everyone had a chance to relax and enjoy the warm weather.
Mom especially had a great time enjoying her grandchildren.
Hear the coqui farewell.
