Summer 1998 - London

We had a wonderful summer. We tried to get out of the city every weekend and enjoy the British countryside.

Look out butterflies!

Master fisherman, Morgan, caught 12 little fishes, 3 snails and 1 wiggly thing yet to be identified.

One weekend we went hiking with Nigel and his family. We cooled down our feet and did a little fishing in a small brook we came across.

Spikey, of course, was not to be left behind and enjoyed being in the water with Nigel, until...

...she fell into the cold water.

Of course we also did a lot of walking in the city

.
Princess Rhyana enjoyed the London sites being pushed in her stroller.

Morgan, taking after dad, likes to read while walking. His big accomplishment for the summer was becoming a real chapter book reader.

Once again, Spikey had to keep up with brother Morgan ...

and made sure that she read as many books, even if it was daddy doing the reading.

Morgan and Dad seperated the DNA of an onion.

On the train returning from one of our many trips.

Yummy! Rhyana's first ice cream cone.

Spikey saying goodbye to Morgan's best friend.

We had a great summer and look forward to spending time with our friends again next year.
