Cousin Reunion

Alexis and Shayla came for a 10 day visit in April. They had just spent 2 weeks in Arizona house hunting and were completely exhausted. In mid May she will make the final move from North Carolina and finally be reunited with Fidel, who has been there since March.

Unfortunately, the cousins didn't get along as well together as they had at Christmas time. Rhyana took advantage of Shayla's immobility to perfect her "hit and run" maneuvers. Poor Shayla would cry whenever Spikey entered the room.

	Thankfully Morgan was there to intervene and help defend Shayla, of course winning her heart.
Shayla took to the bottle for consolation.

Shayla did learn from cousin Spikey and when she returned to North Carolina was much more assertive with her playmates. She was also inspired by Spikey's walking and has gone from barely crawling to almost walking in just a couple of weeks.

Shayla just turned 1 last week, May 4, and is cuter than ever. Spikey better be careful when her confident cousin comes back for another visit I think she will be in for a big surprise.
